When you make a purchase using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions: 1) Shipments are made only
to the address provided by PayPal. Because the shipping dept has different hours and are much more efficient than the office
crew, any requests for change of address, in most cases, are not possible. By the time the email request is made, the
package has usually already been shipped. We will not be responsible for your mistake. If an address change is neccesary,
make a request BEFORE placing an order and get an email confirmation. We do not ship to Hawaii or Puerto Rico.2) DOA
bug replacements are made on an individual case basis. We ship approximately 25% extra bugs to compensate for any dead
bugs even though, due to several years of shipping experience, we have very few DOA experiences. DOA replacements are free
including the shipping except on orders with a total value of $14.00 or less. Orders of $14.00 or less are, at
our discretion, subject to a $5.50 fee to cover shipping cost on replacements. 3) Requests for replacement bugs due
to DOA or other reasons must be submitted by email within 72 hours after receiving the shipment, this means 72 hours, not
73 hours, not two weeks. In most cases we don't ask any questions or require any proof but occasionally we do and because
of this, you should not dispose of any DOA's until you receive confirmation of a replacement shipment. 4) In requesting
a replacement shipment, being calm and nice will get you a lot further than going berserk. It is not required that you be
calm and nice, this is only a tip. 5) We have shipped enough packages to know what kills ladybugs, 99% of DOA shipments are
due to being left in a mailbox, either in hot weather or freezing weather. Be sure that someone is available to receive the
bugs when they are delivered. If no one is available to receive the bugs when they are delivered, we will not be responsible
for any dead bugs, whether the package is left in a mailbox, on a porch, by a front door or any other place or if the package
is returned to the post office for later delivery or pick up. USPS Tracking has become detailed as to where and to who the
package is delivered to. This is what we go by in determining the final out come of replacement requests. We hear
a lot of "the carrier delivered it straight to me" and even if that is true and tracking shows delivered to a mailbox or other
place of exposure, we only go by what tracking tells us. 6) We do not issue cash refunds, the only relief we offer is free
replacement of damaged ladybugs. 7) If you have a problem with a shipment, contact us before doing anything else, we
will do everything we can to solve the problem. If you paid with a credit card and make a chargeback, we consider it
to be an attempt at stealing from us, we can't stop you from doing this, but we do dispute any chargebacks and we have never
lost a dispute. It just puts a hold on the payment so it does no one any good for about 30 days. You will get a much better
solution by coming to us first. 8) We inspect the ladybugs prior to every shipment, after harvest they are crawl cleaned and
hydrated, a sample amount are inspected under magnification for parisites every shipping day. Even though inspection are made,
occasionally, though very rarely, a different sub specie of beetle may get by us and into the container holding an outgoing
shipment. This beetle may be capable of damaging a crop although it is extremely unlikely and I have never seen or heard of
a single beetle doing so. We are not to be held liable for any damage, to crops or otherwise that this beetle may cause. The
extent of our liability would be to replace the shipment of ladybugs.
