FOR THIS STEP YOU WILL NEED THE STENCILS AND AN AIR BRUSH. I SUGGEST THAT YOU PRACTICE FOR AWHILE UNTIL
YOU BECOME FAMILIAR WITH ITS USAGE. THIS MAY LOOK EASY, BUT ITS A LOT TRICKIER THAN YOU MAY THINK. I REPAINTED MY FIRST
BRONCO AT LEAST 20 TIMES AND HAD TO HOLD MY TONGUE AS MANY. ACTUALLY, THE BRONCO IS VERY LUCKY THAT HE DIDN'T GROW WINGS
AND FLY OUT THE WINDOW. I FOUND IT TO BE QUITE AGGRAVATING, BUT THEN I HADN'T DISCOVERED STENCILS YET AND DIDN'T HAVE
ANY THING TO GUIDE ME. I HOPE YOU HAVE BETTER LUCK. AFTER A DOZEN OR SO IT BECOMES PRETTY MUCH ROUTINE AND I OFTEN
WONDER WHY IT TOOK ME 20 HOURS TO COMPLETE SUCH A SIMPLE OPERATION. HERE IS A COLOR LIST THAT YOU WILL NEED, ONCE
AGAIN ASSUMING IT IS FOR THE SPOTTED BRONCO. I'LL POST A LIST OF COLORS FOR THE OTHER MODELS EVENTUALLY.
1) KRYLON 1806 YELLOW UPDATE 01/05 KRYLON 1816 JOHN DEERE YELLOW IS A BETTER MATCH TO THE ORIGINAL.
2) KRYLON 1904 TEAL BLUE
I HAVE TO MENTION THAT IT SEEMS TO ME KRYLON PAINT WAS MADE FOR AIRBRUSHING, IT NEEDS NO REDUCTION AND FLOWS THROUGH
THE AIRBRUSH PERFECTLY. THE ONLY HASSLE IS GETTING IT OUT OF THE SPRAY CAN AND INTO THE AIRBRUSH JAR. I MADE A FUNNEL
WITH A PIECE OF PAPER ABOUT 6 INCHES LONG AND SPRAY THE PAINT INTO THE FUNNEL TOP AND LET IT RUN INTO THE JAR. IF YOU
TRY TO SPRAY DIRECTLY INTO THE JAR YOU WILL FIND THAT IT LIKES TO BOUNCE BACK OUT AND MAKES FOR QUITE A MESS. UPDATE
01/05: I FOUND THAT A PLASTIC SPOON WORKS VERY WELL. HOLD THE SPOON WITH THE TIP JUST ENTERING THE JAR AND SPRAY
INTO THE SPOON, NOT THE JAR. THE PAINT WILL RUN INTO THE JAR WITH NO MESS. SOMETIMES I PUNCTURE THE
TOP OF THE CAN WITH A PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER AND KEEP THE SCREWDRIVER IN THE PUNCTURE HOLE UNTIL ALL THE PRESSURE IS RELEASED
BUT IT ISNT RECOMENDED. I ONLY DO THIS WITH CANS THAT WON'T SPRAY ANY MORE PAINT, IT SEEMS THAT THERE
IS ALMOST ALWAYS AN OUNCE OR TWO OF PAINT LEFT IN THE "EMPTY" CAN. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO USE SAFETY GLASSES
AND KEEP AWAY FROM SOURCES OF IGNITION.
